A big thank you to some of our staff from India (Kerala in particular) who took time out of their day off and celebrating their Local Holiday Onam (celebrated in Kerala and South India), to come into the Nursing Home and share their day with their colleagues and residents. Everyone really understood what the day meant to them, and got a flavour of their culture and heritage. Not only were they dressed in their beautiful finery, but they also brought some of the food, that they will share together, it’s their custom to create 25 dishes on the day. Thanks again ladies and not forgetting thanks must also be given to Recreational officer Elaine in the organising.
