Many of our residents enjoy using Skype to chat with grandchildren and family members as far away as Australia and Canada. Additionally, we ensure residents can easily stay updated with world news and events through the internet, offering support for those who may be new to technology.

For residents who wish to visit the local post office, shops, or simply enjoy a trip into town, Shannon Lodge offers wheelchair-accessible vehicles and a trained, friendly driver to assist with transportation. We are flexible in accommodating various travel needs, ensuring that residents can maintain a sense of independence and enjoy outings safely.

In our two cosy day lounges, residents can enjoy a broad selection of television channels to relax with their favourite shows. Additionally, soothing live radio is available throughout the public areas, creating a calm and welcoming environment that residents and visitors alike can enjoy.
Direct Dial Telephone System
To make communication as seamless as possible, we recently introduced a direct dial telephone system. This system allows residents to make calls independently without routing through our switchboard and also enables family members to call their loved ones directly in their rooms, enhancing privacy and convenience.
